Have you used microwave level switches? How is it working? It’s not used to measure the packing material; it’s used to detect the level of material in the silo.
External-mounted ultrasonic level switch – you may want to inquire about this; we have used it for measuring liquids only, as we haven’t tried it with solids
We have used Hawk, Rosen, and Rockhill for detecting the high and low levels of solids; each has its advantages. It depends on whether your operating conditions involve high temperatures.
