Temperature measurement for the motor gearbox is done using a PT100 sensor in a three-wire configuration, when the machine is stopped. The temperature rises slowly; the wires are removed, the resistance is measured. The value obtained corresponds to the temperature after the rise. A few seconds later, the resistance is measured again, and the resulting value corresponds to the temperature before the rise. I’m not sure why this happens.
Is the gearbox under forced lubrication?

. If the gearbox is fed with oil in a circulating manner, as long as the thermistor is functioning properly, there is no issue. This phenomenon is usually caused by changes in the microcirculation channels of the oil circuit. After the vehicle is parked, factors such as thermal expansion and contraction, turning of the wheels, and environmental vibrations can cause changes in the internal moving contact surfaces, which in turn alters the microscopic flow pattern of the lubricant and ultimately leads to changes in the heat dissipation process. It usually stabilizes in two or three days. .
