This is the data sheet from E+H; it’s my first time coming into contact with loose-flange connections. Later, the manufacturer provided the drawings, and it turned out to be an elliptical opening; I was wondering if it would be possible to connect it properly
What can’t be connected normally? It can be connected; just connect it normally. Generally, slip-on clamped flanges are preferred for enamel-lined reactors, or in cases where the positions of the flange holes are not known ； We also have elliptical clamp flanges!
Is the slip-on flange you mentioned this kind of loose-flange?
It can be connected, no problem – it also meets the specifications.
This is not an ellipse; it’s called a slotted hole.
Are there any regulatory requirements for this practice? Just asking
