In what situations is it necessary to install pressure gauges

Our workshop has pressure gauges on the main pipeline before nitrogen enters various equipment; therefore, none are installed at each machine. However, a recent inspection indicated that we need to install them before nitrogen enters each device. Are there any regulatory requirements specifying where pressure gauges need to be installed?

If the gas pressure used in your gas-consuming equipment is roughly the same and within the measurement range of the pressure gauge on the main pipeline, you can use the gauge on the main pipeline. However, I believe that the scenario described here is overly idealistic. Besides, a pressure gauge doesn’t cost much; it’s still worthwhile to equip each device with one. If hardly anyone goes to inspect the site, and pressure transmitters are installed at all the workstations where equipment uses gas, then it’s fine to do without separate pressure gauges. Mainly, your question isn’t very clear.
