GB/T 3091-2025 \"Welded steel pipes for low-pressure fluid transport\" will come into force officially on October 1, 2025, replacing the 2015 version of the standard. It revises the technical requirements and testing methods for welded steel pipes used in the transport of low-pressure fluids such as water, gas, and oil.  It can be seen from the GB/T 3091-2015 and GB/T 3091-2025 standards that the minimum nominal wall thickness has been revised. 1. DN32 has been increased from 2.5 to 2.8. 2. DN40 has increased from 2.75 to 3.0. 3. The values for DN50/65 have been increased from 3.0 to 3.2. 4. The value for DN80 has been revised from 3.25 to 3.2. 5. The DN100 value has increased from 3.25 to 3.5. Everything else remains unchanged. Separate specifications are provided for the outer diameter and wall thickness of steel pipes with pipe ends connected by threads and grooves, for both regular pipes and thick-walled pipes.
