Dear experts: There are a wide variety of gasification furnaces in use by different manufacturers in China. Could everyone discuss the brands and features of the gasification furnaces used by their respective manufacturers?
Our company previously used relatively outdated fixed-bed batch gas generation furnaces with diameters of DN2800 and DN3200. Now, for various reasons, we need to relocate, and during the preparation process, we came across fixed-bed pure oxygen continuous gas generation furnaces produced by Jiangxi Changyu, Tsinghua-type furnaces, as well as circulating fluidized bed pure (enriched) oxygen gasification furnaces developed by the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. We hope to learn more about the current gasification furnaces and compare them, so we would appreciate any guidance from those with expertise in this field.

What our Institute of Coal Chemistry at the Chinese Academy of Sciences has developed is a ash-polymerized fluidized-bed gasifier; it performs poorly when used with Shanxi coal, but works very well at Yunnan Wenshan Aluminum Industry. The gasification furnace at Yunnan Wenshan Aluminum Industry operated continuously for 128 days, once again setting a new record for the operation time of ash fusion gasification furnaces in China. At 20:16 on November 1st, following the successful simultaneous operation of Furnaces No. 1 and No. 2, Furnace No. 3 in the gas production area was shut down for maintenance. This time, Furnace No. 3 operated continuously for 128 days, setting a new record for domestic ash pyrolysis gasification furnaces once again. This demonstrates an further improvement in the maturity and reliability of industrial applications of ash pyrolysis fluidized bed coal gasification systems.
It mainly depends on the type of coal you have. If its properties are similar to those of Shenmu bituminous coal, and if the factory is relatively large, a fluidized bed is recommended; If the scale is small, or if the coal is of low rank or is a bituminous coal with weak cohesion, a fluidized bed is recommended
It is still necessary to choose a continuous, stable, and environmentally friendly furnace; fluidized bed technology is the dominant approach at present.
