Our company produces 600,000 tons per year of 4.3-meter coke ovens. Due to insufficient capacity for flue gas treatment aimed at desulfurization and denitrification, some flue gas still passes through the chimneys of these ovens. To ensure that the flue gas meets environmental emission standards, we use industrial spray guns to apply 20% concentration ammonia water at a distance of about 6 meters from the base of the chimneys; this method yields significant desulfurization effects, but it is not quite sufficient to meet the emission standards. It is necessary to extend the coking time accordingly. Does anyone have any suggestions? Are there other substances that can be used for spraying, or are there alternative ways of applying this solution? Are there any other feasible solutions?
The data should be reported. If the sulfur content is still above the limit, check whether the gas has been completely desulfurized. Also, the leakage issue in the coke oven needs to be resolved; then it should meet the standards
There are certain issues with doing this, mainly ammonia escape, as ammonia is also one of the pollutants!

Spraying ammonia directly at the base of the chimney should have some erosive effect on it! It should not comply with the regulations!
