Why is the temperature uniformity in coke ovens with a 5-2 arrangement worse than that in those with a 9-2 or 2-1 arrangement?
These descriptions can be found in many books; what I want to see are explanations for why such situations occur. For example. The 2-1 sequencing results in a higher vehicle utilization rate compared to the 9-2 sequencing, and the reason for this is that with 2-1 sequencing, the vehicles complete processing of the entire furnace after 2 round trips, while with 9-2 sequencing they need 9 round trips to do the same, which means fewer trips are required and thus a higher utilization rate. How can the uniformity of temperature be explained?
