Hebei coke is performing strongly

According to the China Phosphorus Coal Industry Network, on August 15th, the sixth round of price increases for coke in regions such as Shanxi and Hebei began. In Shanxi, the price of grade-1 coke is currently 1810–1830 yuan per ton, while grade-2 coke costs 1750–1780 yuan per ton. In Tangshan, the market price of coke increased by 80 yuan per ton; after this increase, the price of grade-2 coke is 1960–2020 yuan per ton, and that of grade-1 coke is 2060–2080 yuan per ton, all prices being inclusive of taxes at the factory； The coke market in Handan has seen an overall increase of 80 yuan per ton. Starting tomorrow, the price for grade A coke will be 1950–1960 yuan per ton, grade B coke will cost 1910 yuan per ton, and high-sulfur coke will be priced at 1870 yuan per ton; all prices are ex-factory and include taxes. The previous four rounds of price increases were each of 50 yuan per ton; after the fifth round of increase, the cumulative increase reached 280 yuan per ton. It is estimated that the sixth round of increase will be in the range of 80–100 yuan per ton.
