According to the China Phosphorus Coal Industry Network, in the past two days some coal mines in Yulin and Shenmu, Shaanxi, have started to reduce their prices by 10 yuan per ton. There are varying opinions in the market regarding the future trend of coal prices; however, it is reported that demand from the main production areas has weakened compared to before, and there are fewer trucks transporting coal due to holidays. In the Ordos area of Inner Mongolia (600295, stock analysis), most coal mines have seen price cuts, with the reduction ranging from 5 to 20 yuan per ton. Due to the rainy and snowy weather, the number of coal trucks has started to decrease in the area. Meanwhile, most coal mines in Shanxi region have not yet seen price adjustments, and traders at the mine entrances are becoming concerned about future coal prices.
