As the name implies, energy isolation is in use here for now on a trial basis. For example, isolation locks are installed at both ends of equipment during maintenance to prevent accidents caused by accidental operations. In the case of acid and alkali pipelines, aluminum or iron sheets are used to cover the flanges in order to prevent leaks and splashes from causing harm. At present, we’re trying things out without being sure if it’s the right approach; we hope that fellow sailors will actively offer their suggestions and contribute their ideas.
It’s a good method to install protection for equipment and pipelines. The method of installing an isolation lock is also good. This requires good planning and design.
