As of October 21, the Shell gasifier in the Hebi plant, which has an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of methanol, has been operating steadily for 201 days, setting a new record for operation time since the project was put into use. This achievement has provided valuable experience for improving the operation standards of similar plants across the country. Taking the launch of the “Year of Management Improvement” campaign as an opportunity, the park earnestly implements the guidelines set forth by the group company’s “three meetings” as well as the various arrangements made at the party congress, and works diligently and efficiently to ensure the stable, continuous, efficient, and optimal operation of its production facilities. To ensure the safe and stable operation of the gasification unit, the park has rerouted the wastewater from this unit to the power desulfurization unit, thereby reducing the pressure on wastewater treatment. The filter element of the gasifier fly ash filter, which was originally 1.5 meters long, was replaced with one that is 2 meters long, thereby increasing the filtering area of the filter. At the same time, the park regularly organizes expert consultations to focus on equipment management, enabling the timely identification and resolution of various potential hazards. Through a series of effective measures, the daily methanol production volume reached as high as 2,205 tons, setting a national record for daily output in similar facilities.
