Precautions for post-cooling furnace drying

Our company’s 2*55-hole, 6-meter top-mounted coke ovens were taken out of service in August 2016. The furnace body and related protective equipment have recently been overhauled, and we plan to carry out furnace drying. What are the differences and precautions between drying a cold furnace and drying a newly built coke oven? Please advise!
