As the title suggests, for projects dealing with biomass such as municipal sludge and waste, the combustible gases generated during normal production are burned using combustion devices, and the exhaust gases are purified before being released to meet regulatory standards. Given the special nature of municipal projects, it is not recommended to install high-altitude flares for emissions. The current situation is: if the combustion unit shuts down due to a fault, how is it most appropriate to handle the combustible gases in the gasification equipment and pipelines?
In my opinion, when the unit shuts down urgently, the gas inside the vaporization equipment and in the pipelines should be able to remain within those pipelines and equipment by means of quick-cut valves. The vaporization equipment should also be equipped with emergency response measures to prevent further generation of gas. After all, the amount of combustible gas stored is small; as long as reliable sealing measures are taken, there should be no major problems

After stopping the operation, it is indeed necessary to cut off the feed to the gasifier. The main issue now is how to properly deal with the gas remaining in the equipment and pipelines
Ground-based torches were considered, but they are still restricted by land availability. As it is an environmental protection project, normal emission control through combustion plus flue gas purification has already been taken into account.
