Review meeting for the multi-nozzle gasification process package in nylon chemical production was held. From January 15th to 17th, 2021, the review meeting regarding the multi-nozzle gasification process package for the coal gasification unit of the hydrogen and ammonia project associated with the nylon chemical industry at Henan Shenma Hydrogen Chemistry Co., Ltd. was conducted via video conference as scheduled. The participants included the project owner, Henan Shenma Hydrogen Chemistry Co., Ltd., the patent holder, Yankuang Guotuo together with East China University of Science and Technology, the design firm, Saiding Engineering Co., Ltd., as well as invited experts. The meeting reviewed the \"Multi-nozzle opposed water-coal slurry gasification unit (6.5 MPa) process software package (PDP)\” for the hydrogen and ammonia project supporting the nylon chemical industry at Henan Shenma Nylon Chemical Co., Ltd., provided by East China University of Science and Technology and Shandong Yankuang Guotuo Technology Engineering Co., Ltd. The process software package was developed based on the design of projects of similar scale, incorporating optimized engineering designs and practical operation experience. The participants deemed that the overall structure of the process software package was clear and complete, meeting the requirements stipulated in the contract for its development as well as those of engineering design. They discussed certain issues in detail and further clarified the next steps, thereby forming a meeting minutes. Henan Shenma Nylon Chemical Co., Ltd. plans to invest 2,300,665,600 yuan to upgrade its existing hydrogen production facilities in the Pingdingshan Nylon New Materials Industry Cluster in Ye County, Pingdingshan City. This upgrade will involve the use of advanced multi-nozzle water-coal slurry gasification technology (2 units in operation and 1 as backup; gasifier diameter of 3,200 mm, design pressure of 6.5 MPa) to build a facility capable of producing 400,000 tons per year of liquid ammonia, 50,000 Nm3/h of hydrogen, as well as sulfuric acid as a by-product. The construction of this facility will meet the raw material needs of companies involved in nylon manufacturing and related technologies, enabling self-sufficiency in terms of raw materials.
