How to deal with the deformation of coke oven columns

Due to operational errors during coke extraction, red coke fell to the ground; the failure to handle this red coke promptly caused one of the furnace columns to be damaged. Upon inspection, it was found that there was a gap of about 50 MM between the furnace column and the protective plate, and the column showed signs of bulging and bending, which could be seen with the naked eye. The current temporary solution is to replace the damaged small springs, reduce the pressure levels on these small springs as well as on the large springs at the upper and lower parts, allowing the furnace column to recover on its own for some time. After that, the pressures on both the small and large springs are increased back to normal levels, and the curvature of the furnace column is measured. Finally, further actions are determined based on the results obtained. I was wondering if this approach is appropriate. Is there any expert who can provide some guidance? Thank you! ! ! !
