After being purified through chemical processing, coke oven gas is sent to the LNG plant for cryogenic separation of methane, resulting in synthesis gas； Or, via PSA hydrogen production, off-gas was obtained. I need help with the volume percentage composition of these two gases (analytical gas and purge gas). What conditions need to be met if purified gas is mixed into the coke oven gas used for heating coke ovens, and vent gas is mixed into the blast furnace gas used for heating coke ovens?
Use it. It’s okay; just control the pressure well
The gas you’re referring to as \"analyzed gas\" is the gas obtained after separation in an LNG cryogenic tank; it is mainly hydrogen. This needs to be determined based on the composition of the raw material, namely coke oven gas. You can carry out your own material balance calculation – generally, the hydrogen content is over 80%, with nitrogen making up the remainder, and methane being present in smaller amounts. This depends on your process and operational capabilities. Some plants mix gas into the recycled furnace gas; its calorific value is relatively low, at about 2/3 of that of coke oven gas, and proper pressure control is sufficient.
