What is the impact of operating one gasification furnace versus two gasification furnaces on parameters such as pressure and temperature in coal gas conversion? How to adjust?
Personally, I think the capacity will have an impact; the load will definitely change. The pressure in the gas conversion process doesn’t change much, but the temperature will rise. It’s sufficient to adjust the water-to-gas ratio and the hydrogen-to-carbon ratio.
When the load of a vaporization furnace is reduced by half: 1. The conversion efficiency increases; 2. The CO level in the output section decreases; 3. The bed temperature rises, while pressure remains unchanged and the pressure difference decreases. Adjustments: 1. Lower the inlet temperature of the converter and slightly reduce the steam-to-fuel ratio.
The method for adjusting the conversion process is as follows: even when the gas flow rate is reduced by half, it is still necessary to adjust the gas composition to keep it stable, thereby facilitating the progress of the synthesis reaction. Generally, a bypass line is used in this process; as the gas flow rate decreases during the reaction, the heat generated is not sufficient to be dissipated, so part of the gas flow is directed through the bypass line. Additionally, when the temperature in the conversion furnace rises, a cooling line is activated to make adjustments and maintain stability in the composition of the converted gas.
