As the amount of ammonia used for washing increases and the ammonia content in the feed gas decreases, the content of sulfur, ammonia, carbon, and ammonium in methanol is also reduced. The purity of methanol is relatively high. As for the water content, by properly controlling the distillation tower, the water level in methanol generally remains low. Just my personal opinion; I appreciate any feedback.

The water in the gas exiting the ammonia scrubber is in a saturated state; increasing the amount of water used in the scrubber can reduce the levels of ash and ammonia in the gas leaving the scrubber, without an increase in the total amount of water, as long as excessive gas-liquid entrainment does not occur.
