Our company currently has a gas (CO) production facility. Due to various process-related requirements, flow meters and control valves have been installed on the gas pipelines. However, it is difficult to remove impurities from the gas; as a result, certain amounts of such impurities are present in the gas. Over time, these impurities (tar-like substances) adhere to the inner walls of the pipelines as well as the surfaces of the flow meter floats, leading to inaccurate measurements. What are some good ways to remove impurities from gas?
Just consider the issue of changing the type of flow meter; the impurities in gas need to be taken into account as a whole. The difference in investment sizes is huge.
If these tar-like substances are difficult to handle, the only option is to change the type of flow meter and then clean it regularly.
Add an electrostatic defouling device and perform thermal cleaning regularly.
