Design in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Volume 1: During the preliminary engineering design phase of a project, the piping discipline is unable to provide accurate values for the loads on the pipe ends. Are there any formulas or provisions in the AMSE standards that offer estimates for these loads? 2. Is there any standard specification for the accompanying ASME design?
