Where is methanol primarily consumed in low-temperature methanol washing, and why?

What was said on the 2nd floor is correct; it’s mainly due to the entrainment of CO2 vapor. In our second-phase low-temperature methanol washing process, the methanol consumption is 80% lower than that in the first phase, and this depends largely on the efficiency of the demister in the flash tower
Gas entrainment is most significant in carbon dioxide product gas
