Does anyone have a technology for removing organic and inorganic chlorine from diesel fractions?
I’d like to hear the details; what method is being used?
Generally, there is little inorganic chlorine in fuel, and if any is present, it is easy to handle. The main issue is that organic chlorines are difficult to treat; removing them can be achieved by (1) using special adsorbents to absorb the organic chlorines ； (2) It is the addition of metal to react with organic chlorine to form inorganic chlorine.
