Are there any cases of methanol catalysts being reused after they have become deactivated? Could someone let me know? Thank you
What do you use for passivation? It can be reduced once again
If the catalyst’s activity is insufficient and does not meet the production requirements, it becomes deactivated and needs to be replaced with a new catalyst. You can’t think that reactivating it is the same as activating a new catalyst, right?
It definitely can no longer be used; mainly, the intergranular structure of the catalyst has changed. I have consulted several catalyst manufacturers
The strength and activity of such catalysts cannot meet the requirements of production.
