For the methanol distillation simulation problem, I have calculated it using both Aspen and ProII, and the results differ significantly; there are also large differences among different property estimation methods. May I ask: 1. Which software calculates more accurately and closer to the actual situation? 2. How should the property methods be selected for simulation using the two software programs? 3. The operating pressures of the pressurized tower and the atmospheric tower are different; should there also be differences in the property methods?
For PRO-based distillation calculations, the technology is relatively mature; it is recommended to use PROII
