I’m asking the experts here: when dealing with low thyroid function and increasing load or adjusting the circulation rate, which instrument readings should be focused on? How to adjust the setting at Tower FV05? Which gauge is used to adjust the flow rate? I would appreciate it if experts could share some experience and give me specific advice. :handshake
Adjusting the air volume in low-methanol systems is actually quite simple; as long as the air volume and the amount of methanol are properly controlled, there are no issues with making adjustments. Without a flowchart, it’s difficult to determine how your valves are adjusted.
During air introduction, the circulation rates in each column of the absorption tower should be increased gradually; as the temperature rises, the cooling capacity required to lower that temperature also needs to be increased step by step. The FV05 in the lower section should be the flow rate of methanol used for pre-washing; there are no strict requirements for this value. Generally, after introducing air into the system, the flow rate is increased gradually to its maximum level. This maximum value usually does not change depending on the load, but can be adjusted as needed based on the methanol-to-water ratio and oil content in the system.
