On April 30, the first public announcement regarding the environmental impact assessment for CIMC Green Energy Low-Carbon Technology (Zhanjiang) Co., Ltd.’s 50,000 tons per year biomass liquid fuel project was made. Project name: CIMC Green Energy Low-Carbon Technology (Zhanjiang) Co., Ltd. 50,000 tons/year Biomass Liquid Fuel Project. Project type: New construction. Location: Southeast of Jianzusuishui Village, Putang Village Committee, Fucheng Town, Suixi County, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province. Main construction contents: This project is a biomass green energy project; its main product is biomass liquid fuel (green methanol), with an output of 50,000 tons per year. The by-products include 588 tons per year of fusel oil, 8,240 tons per year of ammonia water, 208 tons per year of sulfur, and 59.7 million Nm3 per year of CO2 gas. CIMC Green Energy Low-Carbon Technology (Zhanjiang) Co., Ltd. is a holding investment enterprise under CIMC AERIKO Holdings Co., Ltd., which is part of China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd. (referred to as “CIMC Group”). CIMC Green Energy has taken on the task of developing and operating the CIMC AERIKO green and low-carbon liquid fuel production facility.
