On January 7, the first phase of a green methanol production project with an annual capacity of 1 million tons in Laibin City, Guangxi, was approved for implementation. Located in Laibin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, it is an enterprise primarily engaged in business services. Guangxi Laibin Industrial Investment Group is under the jurisdiction of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Laibin Municipal People’s Government. Guangxi Laibin Industrial Investment Group Co., Ltd. was established on October 31, 2007. The company’s business scope includes investing in, constructing, and operating the infrastructure as well as transportation facilities in Laibin City’s industrial park, as well as the infrastructure in Shuicheng ； Raise funds for the construction of government industrial projects ； Authorized operation of state-owned assets ； Real estate development and operation ； Property management ； Project construction ； Overseas investment ； Tourism and cultural development ； Domestic trade (**excluding items under special control). New and renewable energy sources account for 50.34% of the total installed capacity.
