I would like to ask everyone: In chemical plant operations, where inspections are carried out at set times, apart from fingerprint scanning, using a time dial, and flipping cards, what other more advanced and efficient methods of inspection exist?
This is sufficient; it’s enough to ensure that inspections are carried out properly. There is no highly efficient way of conducting inspections – only careful and thorough attention is required
It mainly comes down to the employees’ enthusiasm; as a result, there are too many sign-ins at the inspection locations, and they often focus only on starting the timer and scanning their fingerprints, forgetting the actual purpose of the inspections
Inspection means carefully checking the equipment along the designated inspection route; there are no shortcuts. The purpose of inspection is not to complete a sign-in form – so how should one deal with the requirement to sign in? I don’t know. It’s better to be thorough during inspections – it’s good for the machines and for oneself as well.
