4 600-ton/day gasification units for organic matter! A green methanol project with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan has been approved for implementation. On December 20, Inner Mongolia Xiugang Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd.’s plan for the integrated production of green methanol was approved. It is understood that the total investment in this project is 2.5 billion, with the planned construction period running from May 2025 to April 2027. Location of construction: Xingan League – Horqin Right Front Banner – Xingan League Economic and Technological Development Zone. Scale and scope of construction: The site covers an area of 600 mu, with a total construction area of 73,000 square meters. This includes 4 biomass gasification units with a capacity of 600 tons per day (including facilities for biomass crushing, granulation, storage, and transportation), systems for compressing synthesized and recycled gases, purification, compression, refrigeration, and sulfur recovery processes, methanol synthesis and hydrogen recovery units, methanol distillation units, intermediate storage areas for methanol, final storage areas for methanol products along with related loading and unloading facilities, a flare system, a cryogenic air separation unit with an oxygen production capacity of 22,000 Nm³/h, as well as various auxiliary facilities required for the project. Inner Mongolia Xiugang Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established on December 13, 2024. Its registered address is in Xinailiga Village, Ergetu Town, Horqin Right Front Banner, Xingan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the industry to which it belongs is wholesale.
