The S228 to Qiyaya Coal-to-Methanol Connection Road project in Zhundong was officially opened to traffic on November 12th. The S228 to Qiyaya Coal-to-Methanol Connection Road project in Zhundong is now fully operational! It is reported that the project was successfully completed and passed the acceptance inspection on November 3, 300 days ahead of the scheduled completion date as per the contract. The total investment in this project is 252 million yuan. It starts at the location where Road S228 is to be built, and ends at the coal-to-methanol plant of Xinjiang Qiya Aluminum and Electricity Co., Ltd. The total length of the road is 16.528 kilometers; the road surface is 16 meters wide, while the roadbed is 19 meters wide. The road is constructed according to the standards for urban main roads, with four lanes in each direction. The designed speed limit is 60 kilometers per hour. An integral roadbed is used, along with auxiliary facilities such as lighting and traffic control systems. “Since the project commenced on March 5 this year, we have adhered to the requirement of \"starting with a full commitment to success right from the beginning\". We have continuously increased the allocation of manpower and machinery, dynamically optimized the construction plans, set back-to-back deadlines, focused on advancing progress while ensuring quality and safety, in order to accelerate the project’s development. ”Wang Yongjun, the project leader at the Engineering Construction Project Management Center of the Zhundong Development Zone, said, “Through the concerted efforts of all the participating units and by making every effort to meet the schedule, the project was approved, started, and completed in the same year.” ”The successful opening of this route provides a crucial transportation backbone for the General Temple Industrial Park to expand its industrial development space and attract more high-quality projects. It significantly enhances the region’s industrial capacity, further promoting the growth of industries such as deep coal processing and new energy-related sectors. This contributes to strong logistical support for the high-quality development of the regional economy, helping the Zhundong Economic and Technological Development Zone to accelerate the establishment of a modern industrial system and foster economic growth of high quality. I personally searched for a site for the methanol project on November 7th, 8th, and 9th, but was unable to find one. I heard this news as soon as I got back, so I’m sharing it with everyone.
