Liaoyuan Tianying Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd.’s wind-solar hydrogen storage ammonia-alcohol integration project is a landmark project in Jilin Province’s “green hydrogen+” industry. The first phase of the project can produce 120,000 tons of green hydrogen and 170,000 tons of green methanol. At present, the first batch of electrolyzers have been installed in the four hydrogen production workshops of the first phase of the project, and core functional areas such as the hydrogen balloon tank area, biomass power plant, and central control room have been basically completed. At the briefing meeting, Tianying Group made it clear: We will develop green hydrogen energy business and rely on the integrated projects of Jilin Liaoyuan and Heilongjiang Anda to build and replicate a complete industrial chain of "green electricity-green hydrogen-green alcohol-certification-delivery". According to the plan, the company can produce electricity-made methanol that meets EU standards in 2026, and strive to form a million-ton supply volume by 2030. The core progress of the project is as follows: In April 2024, the first phase of China Tianying Liaoyuan’s green methanol project with an annual output of 150,000 tons started. The project's overall planned wind power and photovoltaic new energy installed capacity is 2.639GW, with an annual output of 150,000 tons of green hydrogen and 800,000 tons of green methanol. ； In June of the same year, the environmental impact report of the project was published for the first time, clarifying that the methanol construction scale of the first phase of the project was 170,000 tons/year, and the methanol output was 150,000 tons/year. In October 2025, Shen Desheng, Secretary of the Liaoyuan Municipal Party Committee, went to the Tianying Wind-PV Hydrogen Storage Ammonium Alcohol Integration Project to conduct on-site research and understand the progress of the project on the spot. In March 2026, Changchun City held a symposium on the demonstration and promotion of green hydrogen application scenarios, reporting that the first phase of the project can produce 120,000 tons of green hydrogen and 170,000 tons of green methanol. The construction of the core functional area is progressing smoothly, and the central control room has entered the equipment debugging stage.
