The factory has an electric motor with a power rating of 0.37 kW. The nameplate indicates that it should be connected at 220V/380V in Δ/Y configuration. Since the factory uses a three-phase five-wire system, the three live wires connected to the motor are currently arranged in a Y configuration. Is the power output still 0.37 kW in this case? Can I increase the power by changing the motor’s connection to a Δ configuration while keeping the power supply unchanged (three live wires)?
One more thing: can Δ be connected at this time?
