How far can the communication distance be between the display panel and the host? Is 200 meters sufficient? How to extend reliability?

It seems that the authorities only provide 3-meter cables, and they also need to be certified. But no matter how you look at it, it’s just an Ethernet cable; 50 meters should be sufficient under normal circumstances, though I haven’t tried it. Why not just use Modbus at such a distance? Even if fiber conversion is possible, it’s not any more convenient for communication.
What is the purpose of placing the panel 200 meters away? For remote control, there are standard control schemes, so there’s no need to place the panel that far away.
