I. General Safety Rules 1. Special electrical machinery shall be operated by designated personnel only; others are not allowed to operate it; 2. For the installation or repair of electrical equipment, a designated person shall be in charge of the operations; others are not allowed to touch or operate it ; 3. Areas where electrical hazards have been identified must not be entered by persons other than operators ; 4. Do not place items around electrical switches and distribution panels ; 5. In the event of electrical abnormalities (overheating, sparking, electric leakage, etc.), it is necessary to report to the electrical management personnel or department ; 6. In the event of abnormal phenomena similar to those caused by static electricity, it is necessary to report to the electrical management personnel or department. II. Safe operation of switches 1. Do not touch wires and electrical equipment when the body is sweating or the hands and feet are wet ; 2. If any damage to the insulating covers of switch blades or outlets is found, report it to the electrical management personnel or department ; 3. Indicate the fuse specification on the switch; do not use fuses with a rating higher than the specified value, and do not replace the fuse with any other metal ; 4. When replacing the fuse, turn off the power switch first. To install a non-enclosed fuse, follow these steps: loosen the fixing screw, remove the blown fuse, clean the contact surfaces, with the side that has clips facing up, first attach the lower screw to the fuse and then the upper screw; afterward, tighten the upper screw first and then the lower screw ; 5. Use the right hand to operate the power switch; do not leave the switch in a half-open or partially closed position ; 6. Operate the knife switch quickly and accurately. Do not leave the switch in a half-on, half-off position, and certainly do not hang wires on the blades of the switch ; 7. The switch operation rod should be maintained regularly and kept in a dry place ; 8. Don’t leave the door of the switch box open; always keep it closed ; 9. When the motor stops operating for unknown reasons, it must be reported immediately to the electrical management personnel or department. III. Safe Operation of Electrical Equipment 1. The fences and insulating shields installed to prevent electric shock around the live parts of electrical equipment must remain in good condition ; 2. The illuminance in the operating area of electrical equipment is as follows: for precision work, 300 lux or more. Normal operation: 150 lux or above. Rough work: 70 lux or above. 3. Do not remove the grounding wires of electrical equipment casually. When swapping motors, it is easy to forget to connect the ground wire; special attention must be paid to this ; 4. Wipe away dust and dirt from the lighting fixtures; be sure to turn off the power supply first. 5. Provide employees with the appropriate personal protective equipment and conduct systematic training, ensuring that all personnel master it proficiently. IV. Safe Operation of Mobile Electrical Equipment 1. Wires that move back and forth should use rubber-insulated cables ; 2. Handheld lamps must have protective devices ; 3. In areas that have been wetted by water or other conductive liquids, do not use mobile electrical equipment with a voltage of 200V or higher until it has been confirmed that the grounding wire is properly connected. V. Use of electrical wires and bare conductors1. During operations or when moving about, if insulated or flexible wires are touched or might be touched, and any damage or aging of the insulation layer is detected, it must be reported to the electrical safety supervisor ; 2. When using mobile wires or various wiring connectors in areas that are wet from water or other liquids with good electrical conductivity, excellent insulation properties are required. To this end, wires or components approved by the electrical department must be used ; 3. To extend electrical wires (including thin flexible wires, rubber-insulated flexible wires, and multi-conductor cables), it is necessary to connect them using the prescribed methods or connectors with good insulating properties (such as terminals) ; 4. Temporarily laid or portable electrical wires should, as much as possible, not be laid on the road surface. When this is unavoidable, protective measures must be taken to prevent insulation damage caused by traffic ; 5. Do not lean objects against electrical wires or hang objects from them ; 6. When working around the bare wires of electric furnaces and electrolyzers that lack insulating coverings, great care must be taken; if necessary, these bare wires should be covered with insulating materials such as rubber sheets or asbestos cloth ; 7. Wires, thin cords, multi-conductor cables, etc., other than those used in hand-held lighting fixtures and power tools, should not be touched casually ; 8. Do not step on or run wheels over wires; do not place wires under heavy objects; do not rub wires against cuts in metal sheets. VI. Safe operating procedures during power outages or power disconnection 1. During a power outage, turn off the designated switch as quickly as possible ; 2. When performing switch-off operations, it is best to disconnect both the load switch and the isolation switch, and attach a \"Do Not Close\" sign or assign a dedicated person to monitor the situation; this person must not leave their post. If it is necessary to leave the post, someone else must be asked to take over monitoring ; 3. For high-voltage power outages and operations involving the disconnection of high-voltage switches, personnel from the electrical management department must be present, or the operations must be carried out in accordance with instructions from the electrical management department ; 4. When restoring power after the work is completed, it is necessary to confirm whether restoring power poses a risk to the workers and to ensure that relevant personnel have been informed; otherwise, power shall not be restored ; 5. Circuit breakers (oil circuit breakers) and line isolators for high-voltage or ultra-high-voltage lines must be opened or closed only after confirming that indicators, signal lights, and signs indicate no load. VII. Safe work in proximity to exposed parts of live wires 1. Do not approach the exposed parts of live wires casually ; 2. Do not approach workers performing live electrical work casually, and do not pass tools to them ; 3. Be especially careful when using long objects such as pipes near the exposed parts of live wires ; 4. During work, if either the human body or non-insulated tools cannot be kept at, or may come within, a safe distance from the exposed parts of live wires, it is necessary to report to superiors; work may only proceed after receiving instructions from electrical management personnel or departments, or in conjunction with staff from the electrical management department. VIII. Safety measures in abnormal situations 1. In the event of abnormalities in electrical equipment such as generator overheating, wire breaks, falling wires, or sparks at porcelain insulators, it is necessary to report this immediately to the electrical management personnel or department ; 2. Do not touch wires that have fallen due to being snapped by strong winds; instead, contact the electrical management personnel or department immediately ; 3. In the event of rain or water leakage from the ceiling, contact the electrical management personnel or department to check whether there are any abnormalities in the insulation of the wiring ; 4. If an insulated part of a non-electrical circuit appears to be charged, it must be reported immediately to the electrical management personnel or department ; 5. If you feel an electric shock while walking, put one foot on the ground and jump away from the dangerous area ; 6. When a leakage alarm, an electrical abnormality alarm, or other similar device activates, it is necessary to report this immediately to the electrical management personnel or the relevant department ; 7. In case of overheating, electric leakage, or fire, cut off the power supply first before attempting to extinguish the fire ; 8. In case of electrical fires, fire-fighting equipment other than those specified shall not be used.
