In the event of a single-phase ground fault in 3KV–10KV systems, the time during which the voltage transformer may continue to operate should be in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. If no such specifications are provided by the manufacturer, then: a. the primary circuit of the transformer should be disconnected immediately; b. it should continue to operate as normal; c. it may continue to operate for up to 5 hours, with enhanced monitoring. c
