Electrical design of skid-mounted equipment

I have no experience with skid-mounted equipment. Could you all, experts, tell me how to handle the power distribution for this type of equipment? Can a distribution box be installed? Are there any requirements for installing it? How should the wires be laid? It’s not a gas station! Just some simple electrical devices for applying pressure, increasing temperature, and so on!
Portable equipment falls into two categories: 1) Those equipped with their own distribution boxes and cabinets, where the control system and its connections are already in place; all that is needed is an external power supply, with signals sent to the DCS control room； 2. The skid-mounted equipment only provides the equipment itself; all power distribution comes from the power distribution room, and all power control cables originate from the power distribution room and the DCS control room.
In the first case, where there is a distribution cabinet, can a control panel or operating column be installed on the device to control the equipment? Is the signal then sent to the control room via a dedicated line?
Integrated skid-mounted unit, movable! Certain fixed functions can be achieved simply by connecting to the power grid and pipelines, etc.! Such as heating, cooling, etc.! It’s something like a mobile toilet or a mobile gas station! It can move!
Most of the skid-mounted equipment in factories is immobile; it’s just provided as a complete set
