The rate periods for smart meters specifically refer to: peak, peak-plus, off-peak, off-peak-low, shoulder-off-peak, and deep-off-peak periods. The most prominent period in the daily load curve of a power system is referred to as the peak period ； The period corresponding to the peak load is called the peak hour ； The period corresponding to low load is called the off-peak period, while the period corresponding to an even lower level of load is called the deep-off-peak period ； The period corresponding to the lowest load is called the off-peak period ； The periods other than peak, summit, trough, saddle, and notch times are referred to as normal periods. Generally, electronic companies in most provinces use the 4-rate time periods.
