The fuses in the DCS control room of the chemical plant keep blowing; those rated at 1A blow, and even those rated at 2A blow as well. The UPS in the control room must not exceed 4A. At present, the design for our company’s main step-down substation specifies that the current capacity must be no less than 4A, and this requirement conflicts with the design of the DCS control room. Seeking advice from experts? I’m not an electrical engineering specialist, so I don’t understand anything about this. Can it be solved by installing some kind of device?
It is still necessary to look for problems with leakage grounding; the focus is on the relays, and those whose proper functioning cannot be guaranteed should be replaced and tried out. There is also the detection of plugins. Ground wires at various points, cable breaks,,, for reference.
