Analysis of the reasons for tripping due to generator rotor ground fault

Recently, the waste heat generator set in the company’s facility experienced an alarm indicating a rotor ground fault; the system tripped about 2 minutes later. This incident is shared with colleagues here for discussion and learning, so that we can jointly analyze the cause of the fault!
The generator protection is equipped with the ABB REG670 comprehensive protection device; the protection activation alarm code is 64F ROTOR E/F.
Perform alternating voltage and ground detection; try replacing any relevant relay components if possible. It might also be necessary to carry out a dielectric strength test. Non-professional, for reference only :)
The generator rotor operates when in one-point grounding condition and trips when in two-point grounding condition. First, check whether there is actual grounding of the generator rotor, and then determine whether it is due to a malfunction of the relay protection system
