A newbie seeking help with a very basic question: For an intermediate relay, whose main contacts operate at DC24V, can its output normally open and normally closed contacts (dry contacts) be connected to an AC 220V circuit? Thank you!
Find a relay and take a look; it will indicate which set of contacts can handle what voltage
Generally, the contacts of intermediate relays are clearly marked as AC 220V XX milliamps, and DC 24V XX milliamps. If not specified, it can be connected to AC220V without any issues in the control circuit
The main contact you mentioned should refer to the coil; the relay will indicate the voltage rating of both the coil and the contacts, as well as whether it operates on AC or DC
