The main types of explosion-proof electrical technologies are: 1: Flameproof type (Exd), 2: Washable type (Exq), 3; Intrinsic safety type (EX ia/id) 4: Type N (Ex nA nC nI nR nZ) 5: Increased safety type (Ex C) 6: Enclosed type (Ex ma mc mb) 7: Positive pressure type (Ex px py pz) 8: Dust explosion protection (tD DIP A/B) 9: Immersed oil type (Ex o) 10: Other explosion-proof products. Main Chinese explosion-proof standards: 1. GB3836.1-2000 General requirements for electrical equipment used in explosive gas environments. 2. GB3836.2-2000 Explosion-proof type “d” for electrical equipment used in explosive gas environments. 3. GB3836.3-2000 Increased safety type “e” for electrical equipment used in explosive gas environments. 4. GB3836.4-2000 Inherently safe type “i” for electrical equipment used in explosive gas environments. 5. GB3836.5-2004 Electrical equipment for explosive gas environments – Positive pressure enclosures type “p”. 6. GB3836.8-2003 Electrical equipment for explosive gas environments – Type \"n\" electrical equipment. 7. GB3836.13-1997 Electrical equipment for explosive gas environments – Repair of electrical equipment for explosive gas environments. 8. GB3836.14-2000 Classification of hazardous locations for electrical equipment used in explosive gas environments. 9. GB3836.15-2000 Electrical equipment for explosive gas environments – Electrical installation in hazardous areas. 10. GB12476.1-2000 Electrical enclosures for flammable dust environments and electrical equipment with surface temperature limitation protection. Explosion-proof equipment categories: Electrical equipment for use in explosion-proof environments is divided into Class I, Class II, and Class III. Class I electrical equipment is used in coal mine gas environments. Class II electrical equipment is used in other explosive gas environments other than coal mine methane. Class III electrical equipment is used in explosive dust environments other than coal mines. Selection of explosion-proof products: Explosion-proof areas are classified into Zone 0, Zone 1, and Zone 2; different explosion-proof products must be selected for these three hazardous zones. For Zone 0, explosion-proof equipment can be used: Electrical equipment and circuits that meet the requirements of IEC60079-11 for intrinsically safe design can be utilized in Zone 0. Therefore, the electrical equipment to be used in Zone 0 can only be intrinsically safe electrical devices or specially manufactured explosion-proof electrical devices. Equipment for Zone 1: Electrical equipment that meets the requirements for use in Zone 0, or one or more of the requirements for the following explosion-proof types, can be used in Zone 1. The flameproof enclosure type “d” meets the requirements of IEC60079-1; the increased safety type “e” complies with IEC60079-7; the intrinsically safe type “i” satisfies the requirements of IEC60079-11. The positive pressure type is p, the sand-filled type is q, the oil-immersed type is o, and the encapsulated type is m. Equipment for Zone 2: The following electrical equipment can be installed in Zone 2: electrical equipment designed for Zone 0 or Zone 1, or “n” type equipment, or special “s” type equipment. Types of explosion-proof products include: 1: Explosion-proof communication equipment; 2: Explosion-proof instruments, meters, and accessories for electrical connections; 3: Explosion-proof switches, control, and protection devices; 4: Explosion-proof fans and explosion-proof air conditioners; 5: Explosion-proof cabinets and enclosures; 6: Explosion-proof motors:
