Metal smoke baffles are installed in the substation and power distribution room

In the fine chemicals industry, the power distribution room is located on the second floor of the power center; below that floor are power equipment such as refrigerators. The design team installed two metal smoke barriers in the power distribution room, with a width of nearly 2 meters, and the ceiling height of this floor is 5.6 meters. The substation rooms I have encountered before did not have smoke baffles; is there any regulatory requirement that such baffles must be installed? Are there any requirements for the width? Building codes specify the division of smoke compartments; if these limits are exceeded, such compartments must be installed. However, if the beam height meets certain regulatory requirements, it can be considered a smoke barrier.
