Generally speaking, an explosion-proof qualification certificate refers to the product’s explosion-proof certification. Submit an application for explosion-proof certification: First, the company submits an application for such certification based on factors such as the product’s usage environment and its structure. The product categories suitable for applying for explosion-proof certification include 17 major types: explosion-proof motors, explosion-proof electric pumps, explosion-proof electrical devices, explosion-proof switches, explosion-proof lighting fixtures, explosion-proof instruments and meters, explosion-proof communication equipment, explosion-proof transportation vehicles, explosion-proof mechanical equipment (such as explosion-proof elevators and explosion-proof cranes), explosion-proof starters, explosion-proof transformers, explosion-proof electric actuators, solenoid valves, explosion-proof plug-in devices, explosion-proof monitoring products, explosion-proof communication and signaling devices, explosion-proof air conditioning and ventilation equipment, explosion-proof electric heating products, explosion-proof accessories, Ex components, explosion-proof sensors, safety barriers, and other explosion-proof electrical products. 2. Provide product and technical documentation (1) Required product documentation: electrical schematic diagrams, assembly drawings, BOM lists, structural diagrams, etc. (2) Required technical documentation: product manuals, corporate standards, special manufacturing process documents (e.g., process information for components that require sealing), battery specifications (if any), etc. (3) If the product contains components that have obtained explosion-proof certification, such certification documents must be provided. 3. Product Testing (1) The company shall provide 1–3 finished products as required for testing; for glass components, 3 pieces of glass are needed. For n-type or encapsulated types, 3 samples are required. For encapsulated types, at least one set of the components in their unencapsulated state must also be provided. Components with non-metallic housings require non-metallic standard samples. If there is a special assembly/disassembly structure, relevant tools for assembly and disassembly, along with other materials necessary for the tests, must be provided. (3) If any issues violating explosion-proof requirements are found during product testing, the company must cooperate with the revisions to the drawings and the correction of the samples. 4. Issuance of test report (1) After a qualified test report is issued by the laboratory, the enterprise needs to check whether there are any errors in the information. 5. Issuance of certificates 6.
