The operating frequency of the motor affects its operating temperature. Generally, the temperature rise of a motor is mainly caused by the energy losses in the core and windings. As the operating frequency of the motor increases, the rate of change of the induced electromagnetic field within it also speeds up. As a result, the induced current in the coils and the energy loss associated with it increase, which in turn leads to an increase in the motor’s temperature. Especially when overclocking, the temperature of the motor rises more significantly, as overclocking increases the load on the motor. If the motor operates at an overclocked speed for an extended period, its temperature may rise too high, posing a risk of overheating or even damage to the motor. Therefore, to maintain the proper operation of the motor, it should be used at the designed frequency strictly, with appropriate load adjustments made within the rated frequency range as needed. .
