What should the exhaust temperature of a heating furnace generally be set above? Is the steam coming from the chimney related to a low exhaust temperature?
The decisive factor in whether white mist is generated is the exhaust gas temperature. After passing through the desulfurization device, the temperature of the flue gas does decrease, but in cases where the ambient temperature is high, the exhaust temperature remains above the dew point of water vapor; as a result, no significant white mist is observed. However, in winter when the ambient temperature is low, as long as the flue gas temperature is below the dew point of water vapor, white mist will still appear in the chimney. The flue gas temperature is generally controlled between 120 and 150 degrees.
