Discussion on the adjustment process during the commissioning of the fractionation section of a hydrocracking unit

Our plant has newly installed a hydrocracking unit; the distillation section consists of a butane removal tower and a distillation tower. The distillation tower does not have any feed lines for gasoline and diesel, which means that once the reaction oil is fed into it, it is not possible to establish a reflux flow in the distillation tower. I would like to ask the experts: when starting up the distillation section, is it necessary to introduce gasoline and diesel into the system to establish a reflux? Is there a risk of column flooding if no reflux is established first? I’ve seen some companies wait until the oil level in the reflux tank, oil collection tank, or side draw tower rises before starting the side draw pump to facilitate reflux. Do you do the same when you start up?
If advanced oil is used, the furnace cannot be started! Moreover, the reactive feed requires a certain temperature! It’s best to establish cold oil circulation first in the distillation section! Personally, I think printing the ink in reverse order will help establish a cold oil flow! The reaction is receiving oil input, which is good!
For initial startup, washing and purging are required, as well as operation with cold oil and hot oil; therefore, there must always be an oil introduction line for startup.
