What could be causing a leak in the conversion steam generator? Are there any other reasons for adding water after the drum dry pot, apart from the manufacturing reasons?
The poor quality of the lining makes it susceptible to erosion and corrosion caused by air currents; inadequate lining installation leads to overheating; large fluctuations in pressure and temperature in the converter; issues with the material used in heat exchangers; the welding quality of the tubes in the tube sheets; the welding quality of dissimilar steels; whether heat treatment is carried out before and after welding; and control of furnace water pH and scaling
