I would like to ask fellow sailors why gravel is laid under the pipe galleries in petrochemical plants. Thank you!
We have lawns; it’s easy to check whether there are stones or if any materials have leaked out
Our utility tunnels are all installed at a relatively high height. :lol

There’s no need to harden the cement; the cost is higher than just using gravel
Material leaks are easy to collect; there’s no need for investment in hardening
