The operating pressure in the refining reactor for wax oil hydrocracking is usually around 15 MPa. At such a high pressure, is it necessary to take samples of the refined oil at the outlet of the refining reactor? How to operate it?
Sampling under high pressure can be achieved using two or three welded valves
It generally consists of two ball valves. During sampling, the second valve that is closer to the equipment or pipeline is closed first, while the first valve is opened to allow the fluid to flow into the space between the two valves； Then close the first valve and open the second valve; place the sampling vessel at the sampling port to contain the medium. The refined oil first passes through a double valve with a flow-limiting orifice plate in between; it is then cooled in a tank filled with cooling water. The double valve is slightly opened to fill the pipeline with the medium, after which the valves are closed. Cooling takes place afterward, and sampling is conducted once cooling is complete
